The Project Story

The homeowners wanted the front of the property to feel as finished as the house itself, and a backyard they could use on an ordinary weeknight rather than only on a Saturday. The front walkway, porch, and rear patio were all part of the same project.

Weaver's Landscape Company laid a curved paver walkway in a soft gray blend, edged with a soldier-course border that follows the front of the home and carries around the side. It meets a concrete paver porch wide enough for rocking chairs and container plantings. Massed panicle hydrangeas and layered evergreens fill the foundation beds, softening the stone without hiding it.

Out back, a covered pavilion extends the living space. White wrapped posts rest on stone bases beneath a stained tongue-and-groove ceiling with exposed trusses, recessed lighting, and a ceiling fan. A raised circular fire pit sits against a capped seat wall lit from beneath the cap. Landscape lighting washes the stone facade and traces the walkway, so the property holds its shape long after sunset.
