The Project Story
This tucked-away patio offers the homeowners a peaceful space to slow down and stay awhile. We turned the surrounding backyard into a blooming garden escape filled with color, texture, and quiet places to unwind. A curved paver walkway leads through layered planting beds and past intimate seating areas, each one offering a fresh view of the landscape.
At the heart of the patio, we added a round fire table, perfect for cool evenings and relaxed conversation. Around it, we planted hydrangeas, coneflowers, and black-eyed Susans for vibrant seasonal color, with ferns, coral bells, and hostas softening the edges in shaded zones.
A small water feature is tucked among the plantings, and stone borders define the space without making it feel too structured. Every detail was designed to make this backyard feel welcoming, relaxed, and rooted in nature.
