Backyard Pavilion Retreat

This project on Letterkenny Rd. focused on creating a relaxed yet refined outdoor living area that feels like a natural extension of the home. We installed a spacious paver patio with a warm, neutral blend of tones and contrasting soldier course borders that give the edges clean definition.

Just outside the back door, a low deck and pavilion were added to establish a covered space for outdoor dining. Wrapped posts, a ceiling fan, and recessed lighting turn it into a true extension of the home’s footprint and making it ideal for hosting or simply relaxing with a breeze overhead.

To bring softness to the strong lines of the patio, we incorporated curved planting beds with fresh mulch and a mix of flowering perennials, ornamental grasses, and a few young trees. These elements give the space seasonal color and texture without overwhelming it.

In the open patio area, Adirondack chairs face out toward the tree line, offering a quiet spot to enjoy the wooded backdrop. The gentle flow of the paver layout and surrounding beds creates a layered look that feels both polished and inviting.

Subtle lighting ensures the space can be used day or night without disrupting the peaceful setting. It’s a simple, clean design made for everyday use with just the right touch of structure.
